I was very impressed with my friend’s apparent success with a home business opportunity called Wealth Masters International. He is a very hard worker and his hard work has paid off: he has the house, car and lifestyle that he has always wanted. Naturally I wanted in.

I did a little bit of research and found something called Carbon Copy Pro. I didn’t check properly, but this seemed to be linked to Wealth Masters International in some way. All I had to do was pay them some money and they would close all my deals for me. This sounded like an easier way to get the same success my friend had had without all the hard work.

Boy was I wrong.

The idea behind Carbon Copy Pro is that they pre-sell the business opportunity to my leads. Once they’ve got the lead interested in the opportunity then they charge a set fee for the lead to find out more about it. Where this falls down is that the information is quickly available on the Internet. Maybe Carbon Copy Pro would have worked 10 years ago. Not when it was first introduced in November 2007.

Carbon Copy Pro is not a business opportunity but a marketing scheme. Neither is it a shortcut to wealth and riches. The moral of the story: research everything a lot more carefully than I do.
