Acai berry is all about the antioxidants, you may think. This is what we are told when acai is described to us; this is a super food because of the amount of antioxidant that is contained within it. This supposition is partly true: there is a lot of antioxidant in acai berry, and there is a lot of good to be had from ingesting decent amounts of antioxidants.
But the important thing to remember is that acai berry is not just about antioxidants. It’s also full of amino acids, essential omega fatty acids (that’s the good fat that your body likes) and lots of other goodness. Plus, and this for me is the clincher: it tastes great, too!
It’s natural that people want a reason as to why acai berry is great, and it’s only natural that those same people want to latch on to what is arguably the strongest weapon in its arsenal. What it does mean, though, is that the many other benefits of using acai are lost to us; many people just don’t know about these ‘fringe’ benefits. It is these fringe benefits, though, that make acai into the all-round ‘monster’ of the super food world. Choose this little berry, and you will choose life.
