There are many versions of software that allow us to share files over the internet; although they all do essentially the same thing they are very different in the way they approach the same problem. Predictably they all have certain foibles and mannerisms that make them great and not so great. Ares Ultra is one such program.
Ares Ultra differs from many of the other filesharing applications because it is so inoffensively easy to use. Turn it on, select your files, download. Simple as that. It also plays very nicely with AOL, too, which many others fail to do. Worth considering if you’re stuck with AOL.
The main drawback to Ares Ultra is this: it’s so simple to use. While this doesn’t sound like much of a problem it can lead to some of the more complex operations being hidden well inside the application’s menus.
Other than this Ares Ultra really does provide a fantastic solution to a common problem.
